# Events — Headwater Science

Playbook for **event articles** (`resources/events`) — conference and booth landers.

Index: `/resources/events/` — upcoming conference landers only (slug matches `conference-venue` primary tag). Past events are omitted, not archived on-page.

## Content stack

**Event Hero, Pardot form, and the sister-brand CTA live on each article** — not the event template — so poster pages can omit the Pedestal Health cross-promo band. That band is **Pedestal Health** marketing on a Headwater lander (`CTA: Large` / `CTA (Large)`), not a Headwater-only module and not a reason to copy Pedestal entries.

Do not add a second Pardot handler. Hub inquiry copy still uses the same form.

## Hub (`/resources/events/`)

Edit **article type** `resources/events` `indexPageTopContent` — not a page entry.

Do **not** create a second Pardot form for events.

Listing `subtitle` is `City · dates · Booth N`. `summary` is the listing body. `visuals` is the conference lockup. Presentation sub-pages use a slug that is **not** the venue tag so they stay off the hub.

## Workflow

1. Read `cms-edit://customer/articles`
2. `cms-edit index sync`
3. `task-create-article` with `articleTypeSlug: resources/events`
4. Set fields above; put Event Hero, the shared Pardot form, and (on conference landers only) the Pedestal Health sister-brand CTA on the article — not the event template or poster pages
5. Hub inquiry form lives on article type `indexPageTopContent`, not the article
6. Preview `/resources/events/{conference}/{slug}/` and `/resources/events/`
7. `diff` → `save` → `task-publish-handoff`

Saves are drafts only — publish in Contentful when ready.
